Mental Barrier was formed by the belief that creative barriers ignite inspired thinking.

Who I Am

My name is Jocelyn Gomez, I am an editor with experience working in short-form, unscripted and variety entertainment. I began my career as an assistant editor and have since enjoyed the thrill of working on some of the most iconic and decorated shows, such as The Ellen Show and The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Those who have worked with me know that I’m a highly motivated creative professional. In my work, I am inspired by collaborative and playful environments where I can combine my passion for design and visual story-telling to fulfill your project needs. I pride myself on being adaptable in any situation, whether that is bringing to life compelling digital campaigns with stylistic edits, or shaping and sweetening live-to-tape moments under a time crunch. I understand that each project brings with it unique opportunities and creative challenges. The joy of discovering barrier breaking ideas is what excites me the most.

When I’m not in an edit bay, I enjoy spending as much time as I can outdoors playing tennis or capturing moments on my super 8.
